INVITING FRIENDS TO THE ARLBERG SKI RESORT [AUSTRIA] TO PLAY JAZZ

Starting in 2011 we organized annual winter jazz sessions at the Arlberg

2012 The Hartwig-Eitler-Quartet becomes a „Quintet“

The Traxl-family, owners of the Hotel Maiensee in Sankt Christoph (Arlberg) invited our Viennese swing quartet (Hartwig-Eitler-Quartet) to play some apres-ski jazz at their 4-star hotel.  Heidi Adair, a trained opera singer from the USA and at the time living in Sankt Anton am Arlberg, joined in with some vocals. Her husband Bo Adair recorded.

We committed to play through the entire month of February 2020 at Hotel Schwarzer Adler, with Raphael Schwarzacher on bass. Then he broke his wrist skiing. Peter Bauer came from Vienna to play the bass, Raphael watched and sang..
